Our Challenges

One of the major challenges faced by the creators of the UtahValleyPipeOrgans.org website, is trying to keep up with all the rebuilds and modifications being made to older pipe organs throughout the Valley.  Because we are not automatically notified when these rebuilds occur, we depend largely on input from people just like each of you here in the area to know when these rebuilds are underway.  Whenever we learn of significant additions or modifications to organs featured on our website, we try to evaluate the results and update the website as soon as possible and announce to our fellow organ enthusiasts about the details of the rebuild.

PLEASE...  If you are aware of any pipe organ in the Valley that has recently been rebuilt, is currently being rebuilt, or is scheduled to be rebuilt, please contact Blaine Olson at: PipeOrganGuy1@gmail.com or Jim Welch or Mike Carson, so that we can check out the organ and make updates to this website, and highlight the organ in the Utah Valley American Guild of Organists (UVAGO) monthly newsletter.

On behalf of James Welch, Mike Carson, and myself, Blaine Olson, we thank you for your tips and your help in making and constantly updating the Utah Valley Pipe Organs website.  It is our sincere desire that the website will be used as a resource for new organists as well as for more seasoned organists, to help inform and educate organ fans and teach them some valuable tidbits of information that they did not previously know about or fully understand.
